Elementary school is where curiosity begins to transform into confidence.
At Creekside Creative Academy, students continue to experience the joy of learning while building strong academic foundations that prepare them for future success.
Our Alberta Certificated Teachers deliver instruction aligned with the Alberta Programs of Study while intentionally extending learning beyond provincial expectations through rich experiences, meaningful relationships, and individualized instruction.

With class sizes capped at 18 students, teachers truly know every learner. Small-group instruction allows educators to tailor learning experiences to students' strengths, needs, and readiness, providing both challenge and support as children grow academically and personally.

Learning That Comes to Life
Learning doesn't happen only at a desk.
Students regularly participate in outdoor-integrated learning, off-site field studies, and authentic, hands-on experiences that deepen understanding and help students connect classroom learning to the real world.
Physical education extends beyond our campus through regular programming at the Collicutt Centre Field House, and students in Grades 1–5 participate in swimming lessons each year, building confidence and lifelong water safety skills.
Growing Independence
As students move through the elementary years, they gradually take greater ownership of their learning. Alongside developing strong literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills, they build organization, responsibility, perseverance, and confidence.
Students complete the Grade 6 Provincial Achievement Tests, prepared not only through academic instruction but through years of intentional learning experiences that have strengthened both their knowledge and their confidence.
Every experience is intentionally designed to help children grow.
