Outdoor-integrated education is woven throughout the Creekside experience because we know children learn differently when they are actively exploring, discovering, and engaging with the world around them.
 

Students investigate ecosystems in local natural spaces, develop leadership through outdoor adventures, strengthen teamwork while camping and canoeing, and apply classroom concepts in authentic, real-world settings.

Experiential Learning - Learning by Doing

Experiential learning is woven throughout Creekside's programs because we know children retain knowledge more deeply when they investigate, create, collaborate, reflect, and apply what they have learned in authentic situations.
 

Rather than simply reading about concepts, students have opportunities to experience them firsthand.
