As an accredited funded independent school, Creekside employs Alberta-certificated teachers, follows the Alberta Programs of Study, and is led by certificated school leadership while undergoing ongoing provincial oversight and reporting to ensure excellence in education.
Being an independent school allows Creekside to offer an educational experience that is intentionally different—combining academic rigour with developmentally appropriate teaching, outdoor-integrated learning, small class sizes, and personalized support—while ensuring students receive an education that meets Alberta's provincial requirements.
Our students earn Alberta-recognized credits and graduate with an Alberta High School Diploma, preparing them for post-secondary education and future careers with confidence.
Association of Independent Schools & Colleges in Alberta (AISCA)
Creekside Creative Academy is a proud member of the Association of Independent Schools & Colleges in Alberta (AISCA), the provincial organization representing accredited independent schools and early childhood education providers across Alberta.
AISCA exists to support and promote excellence in independent education by advocating for school choice, fostering high standards of teaching and learning, and working collaboratively with Alberta Education and Childcare on initiatives that strengthen education across the province.
Through our membership, Creekside remains connected to a network of innovative schools committed to continuous improvement, professional excellence, and providing exceptional educational opportunities for students and families.
