Ready to Explore, Think & Grow
Our full-time Kindergarten program brings together the curiosity, confidence, and strong developmental foundations of the early years with the learning expectations of the Alberta Kindergarten Program of Studies.
Led by a certified Alberta teacher, the program provides children with a rich educational experience where academic learning, creativity, physical development, relationships, and exploration remain interconnected.
Children develop foundational skills in literacy and mathematics while investigating science, social studies, the arts, and the world around them. Inquiry, hands-on learning, collaboration, and purposeful play continue to be important parts of the Kindergarten experience.

Individual Attention & Additional Support
With a maximum of 18 children and two adults per group, our Kindergarten environment allows for strong relationships, responsive teaching, and meaningful opportunities for children to participate, collaborate, and receive support.
Children who qualify may also access speech and language support through our Speech and Language Team during regular programming time. This allows additional support to be incorporated into the child's school experience while helping strengthen the communication skills that contribute to learning, relationships, and confidence.

Enhanced Learning Experiences
The Kindergarten experience is further enriched through music and dedicated physical education time at the Collicutt Field House, giving children additional opportunities to develop physical literacy, coordination, confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for movement.
Outdoor learning is also a significant part of every day. Kindergarten children head outdoors twice daily for approximately one hour at a time, extending learning beyond the classroom through movement, investigation, problem-solving, creativity, and connection with the natural world.
