At Creekside Creative Academy, we intentionally create a culture where students feel safe to be themselves, confident to take risks, and supported as they grow.
From morning greetings to outdoor adventures, celebrations, leadership opportunities, and everyday classroom moments, life at Creekside is built around one simple belief:

Every Child Matters Here
One of the first things families notice when they visit Creekside is how quickly students know one another—and how quickly teachers know every student by name.
That's intentional.
Belonging isn't something we hope happens naturally.
It is something we intentionally build every single day.
At Creekside, we believe students learn best when they feel safe, respected, valued, and genuinely known. When children experience belonging, they become more willing to ask questions, try new things, persevere through challenges, and build meaningful relationships with others.
Because before students can truly grow, they need to know they belong.

Strong relationships are the foundation of everything we do.
Our intentionally small class sizes create opportunities for teachers to build meaningful connections with every student—not only understanding how they learn, but who they are.
We celebrate their successes, encourage them through challenges, and help them discover strengths they may not yet see in themselves.

Kindness isn't an occasional lesson.
It's part of our culture.
We intentionally teach students how to encourage one another, solve problems respectfully, celebrate differences, take responsibility for their actions, and contribute positively to the community around them. Every interaction becomes an opportunity to develop empathy, integrity, gratitude, and respect.
These are qualities that prepare students not only for school—but for life.
Everyone Has Something to Contribute
Belonging also means knowing your voice matters.
Students are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, pursue their interests, and contribute to the life of the school.
Whether leading an assembly, presenting a Passion Project, helping a younger student, participating in outdoor learning, or simply encouraging a classmate, students learn that every person has unique gifts to offer.
We don't want students to simply attend Creekside.
We want them to help shape it.

Growing Together
One of the greatest strengths of Creekside is the partnership between students, educators, and families.
Parents are welcomed into celebrations of learning, school events, performances, outdoor experiences, and community traditions that strengthen relationships beyond the classroom.
